新生児集中治療室職員が水痘を発症した事例の対応

水痘・帯状疱疹ウイルス（varicella-zoster virus：VZV）は新生児集中治療室（neonatal intensive care unit： NICU）において水平感染をきたす可能性がある。今回，NICU 職員が水痘を発症したため，その対応を迫られた。 NICU 入院児，面会者および職員のVZV 抗体保有状況を確認し，隔離および予防投薬を行った。また，二次感染 予防対策期間中は病的新生児の受け入れを制限し，他施設へ協力を依頼した。NICU における水痘発生は迅速な対 応を要するだけでなく多方面に大きな影響を与えるため，職員のワクチン接種が重要である。

Varicella-zoster virus（ VZV） can cause horizontal transmission in neonatal intensive care units（ NICU）. In this case, a staff member of NICU developed varicella. To control the spread in the NICU, we checked the antibody status of all hospitalized infants and their families, isolated those who needed it, and administered a prophylactic medication. During the period of secondary infection prevention measures, we restricted the acceptance of sick newborns and requested cooperation from other facilities. Because a varicella outbreak in the NICU can have a significant impact in many areas, it is important to administer prophylaxis to the staff.
